You’re the blue light that keeps me up at night… Shining in my eyes like high beams in the distance. You’re the sound that wakes me in terror… a symphony of strings playing notes all out of key.

We slip on ice and we collide… scattering fragments of plastic with glass caught in our eyes. I’m not ready to die.

You accelerate the thumping in my chest… palms sweating and paranoia setting in. You accentuate the distrust in my voice. You’re making me uncomfortable with walls all closing in.

The plane declines. We fall from the sky. Panic ensues and we all lose our minds. I’m not ready to die.
